SNUFF formed in 1986 in North West London, England. Their racket, consisting of an irresistable blend of potent pop, thrash, and punk, has earned them a massive cult following worldwide. Snuff, formed by Andy, Duncan and Simon, started off with a hectic mixture of implausibly fast guitars and exquisite melodies.
It was five years and numerous break-ups and re-formations before Loz replaced Simon on guitar. Eccentric, noisy and with no idea about punctuation, New Musical Express 's Simon Williams accurately described them as making 'Fugazi look like the Bee Gees'.
